How posting to Threads works
You share a thought with Bangers: a voice note, a written note, something you'd normally just post. The team drafts it for Threads, in your voice. You review it, ask for edits if it's not quite right, and approve it. Once approved, it publishes to your connected Threads account on schedule. No draft goes out until you've said yes to it.
Threads is one of several networks Bangers reaches through a hosted sign-in rather than a credential form. You never hand Bangers a password. You sign in with Threads itself, on its own screen, and it decides what access it hands back and which account it applies to.
What Bangers knows about Threads
Threads posts have a hard 500-character limit, and Bangers checks against it. The register the drafting playbook uses is conversational and plainer than X, with no hashtags, following the same hook-first, one-idea approach it uses for other short-post networks, just tuned to Threads' looser, more casual tone.
Threads shares its parent company with Instagram, but the two are drafted very differently in Bangers: Threads gets a short conversational post, while Instagram gets a caption written to sit under a photo. Connecting both accounts doesn't mean the same text goes out to each one.
For a thought that needs more room, the playbook can plan the idea as a short multi-part thread rather than compressing it into one post. That planning happens at the drafting stage; publishing through your connected account currently sends a single post, so a multi-part thread draft isn't split out and posted as a live thread yet.
Threads publishing through this connection doesn't currently support attaching a photo or video, whether generated or uploaded through Telegram: text only for now.
Connecting it
Connecting Threads uses a hosted sign-in. From the channel connection screen, choose "Connect with Threads." That opens Threads' own sign-in and permission screen. You log in there and approve access directly. Once you approve, Bangers brings the connected account back as a channel, ready to receive drafts.
Because the permission lives with Threads rather than a password Bangers stores, you can pull access at any time from Threads' own connected-apps or account settings, and Bangers loses the ability to publish to that account immediately, no separate disconnect step needed inside Bangers itself for it to take effect. Once a post is approved, it publishes directly on schedule with no separate draft stage sitting inside Threads itself.
When it fails
Every post needs your approval before anything happens: nothing publishes on its own. The publish itself is submitted and confirmed asynchronously: Bangers sends the post, and the network reports back whether it went live. Either way, if something goes wrong (the connection was revoked, the post was rejected, Threads' own moderation flagged it), you're notified in Telegram within a minute with the reason, and you can retry.
