Privacy Policy
Bangers ("we", "us") is a voice-first content engine: you send voice notes over Telegram (or the web dashboard), an agent turns them into drafts for the platforms you connect, and nothing publishes until you approve it. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can get it deleted.
What we collect
- Account data - your email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Telegram identity - your Telegram user ID, used to link your bot conversation to your account.
- Voice notes and transcripts - the Telegram file IDs for voice notes you send, and the text transcripts generated from them.
- Thoughts and drafts - the distilled ideas and post drafts the agent produces from your voice notes and other input.
- Connected-platform credentials - access tokens/keys for the social or publishing platforms you connect (e.g. LinkedIn, X, a blog), so the agent can post on your behalf.
- Short-link click counts - aggregate click counts on the short links bangers generates for your posts.
- Billing data - your Stripe customer ID (payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store them).
Why we collect it
Every piece of data above exists to run a specific part of the product: authenticating you, receiving and transcribing your voice notes, drafting and scheduling posts, publishing to the platforms you've connected, measuring how your links perform, and billing your subscription. We don't run ads and don't sell or share your data with data brokers.
Where it's processed - subprocessors
We rely on the following subprocessors to run bangers. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job.

Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete the data listed above within a reasonable time, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal/tax reasons (handled by Stripe under their own retention policy).
Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU/EEA (or anywhere with similar protections), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
Deleting your data
Message the bot with a delete request, or email us at support@bangershq.com and we'll delete your account and associated data.
Cookies
We use exactly one cookie: vp_session, an essential, HttpOnly session cookie that keeps you logged in to the dashboard for 30 days. It's strictly necessary for the service to work - we don't use any advertising or analytics trackers, so there's nothing to opt out of.
