Data deletion

Last updated: 20 September 2026

You can remove a connected account, or everything Bangers holds about you, at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to the data. It applies to every network you connect, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit and YouTube.

Disconnect one network

  1. Open Channels in the Bangers app.
  2. Choose Disconnect on the account you want to remove.

Disconnecting deletes the access tokens we stored for that account straight away, and posts scheduled for it will not go out. Posts that were already published stay on the network, because they belong to your account there; delete them on the network itself if you want them gone.

You can also withdraw access from the network's side. Bangers stops being able to post as soon as you do:

Delete your Bangers account and all data

Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data", or send the same request to the Bangers bot in Telegram. We confirm the request by reply and delete within 30 days:

We tell you by email when deletion is complete. Billing records that tax law requires us to keep stay with our payment provider for the legally required period. Nothing else is retained.

What we access on a connected network

Only what publishing needs: your profile name and account id so you can recognise the connection, permission to publish the posts you approve, and, where the network offers it, the performance numbers of posts published through Bangers. We do not read your messages, contacts or followers, and we never publish anything you have not approved.
