How posting to X works
You share a thought with Bangers: a voice note, a written note, an update about the business. The team drafts a post for X in your voice. You review it, ask for changes if it's off, and approve it. Once approved, it publishes to your connected X account on schedule.
X is one of several networks Bangers reaches through a hosted sign-in rather than a credential form you fill in yourself. You never hand Bangers an X password or an API key directly. You sign in with X itself, on X's own screen, and X is the one deciding what access it hands back.
What Bangers knows about X
X posts have a hard 280-character limit, and Bangers counts against it. The drafting playbook follows what it calls the X post playbook: a hook in the first 8 to 12 words, one idea, written to be read in one glance, no filler.
For a thought that needs more room, the playbook can plan the idea as a thread (three to five short parts, each under 280 characters) rather than cramming it into one post. That planning happens at the drafting stage; publishing through your connected account currently sends a single post, so a multi-part thread draft isn't split out and sent as a live thread yet.
X publishing through this connection doesn't currently support attaching a photo or video, whether generated or uploaded through Telegram: it's text only for now.
Connecting it
Connecting X uses a hosted sign-in, not a form you fill in by hand. From the channel connection screen, choose "Connect with X." That opens X's own sign-in and permission screen. You log in there and approve access the way you would for any app. Once you approve, Bangers brings the connected account back as a channel, ready to receive drafts.
Because the permission lives with X rather than with a password Bangers stores, revoking access is entirely in your hands from X's own settings: pull the connected app's access there, and Bangers can no longer publish to that account. There's no separate disconnect step needed on the Bangers side for it to take effect, and once a post is approved it publishes directly on schedule with no separate draft stage inside X itself.
When it fails
Every post needs your approval before anything happens: nothing publishes on its own. The publish itself is sent off and confirmed asynchronously: Bangers submits the post, and the network reports back whether it actually went live. Either way, if something goes wrong (the connection was revoked on X's side, the post was rejected), you're notified in Telegram within a minute with the reason, and you can retry.
